Never, ever just read a book. You must USE IT! Make notes all over the book and list out the exact action steps that you will take to make use of the information from the book. As Vurnum notes, most people ‘buy a book, buy an e-book, read articles, listen to audios. Then they put them away, never to be used again.’

In Vurnum’s words, ‘If you do that with every book that you read or tape that you hear, I guarantee that within six months you will have left your peers to the dust. I know that it can be a difficult thing to do, but take it from me – I believe that this exercise alone has helped me get to where I am today.’
