The following posture exercise suggested by Robert Cooper is very helpful. Follow the steps carefully:

1. Sit comfortably in an armless chair or on a bench. Close your eyes and breath naturally.

2. Lengthen your neck and let your head move upward. As you raise your head, tuck your chin slightly, broaden your shoulders and flatten your lower back.

3. Gently lean your head to the left, then to the right. Finally, return your head to the most central, balanced position. This is the position directly over your body where you can balance it without feeling any muscle strain.

4. Move your head slightly forward then back. Then find the precise center once again.

5. Visualize the following image: think of yourself as carrying a weight on top of your head. Push against that weight, holding it in position so it would not fall off. This gives your senses instant, valuable signals that will help you balance and stabilize your head and neck.

Posture Correction Exercise 2

1. Sit comfortably in a chair with your feet touching the floor.

2. Relax your shoulders and keep your head straight.

3. Tuck your chin gently toward your chest. Practice maintaining this posture.

Posture Correction Exercise 3

1. Inhale deeply.

2. Exhale slowly as you draw the air out from your lungs entirely.

3. Squeeze your tummy in and hold.

4. Inhale and expand your chest fully.
